We spent a long time hiring other people's spaces. Beautiful rooms with a rate that doubled once you added lighting. Studios that charged a bump-in fee to carry your own gear through the door. Venues where you never spoke to a person, just a form.
So we built Suite Four. Everything's included because it should be. You deal with us because we're the ones who care how your day goes.
Between us we can take an idea from a screenshot on your phone to a room full of people - and photos of all of it.
Questions people ask
What does it cost to hire the studio? Studio hire starts at $320 for 2 hours on a weekday, including lighting, backdrops and props. Half days and full days are priced better - the full table is on The Space page.
What's the difference between studio hire and event hire? Studio hire is for working shoots - crew and talent only, up to 10 people, no guests, catering, alcohol or decorating the room. Anything with guests, food, drinks or styling is an event booking, which comes with a hire agreement and a refundable bond.
What's actually included? Godox DP4000III 800W studio flash lighting, coloured and neutral backdrops, styling props including the lounge, a small kitchen area, bathrooms, and a loading zone out front. Bump-in and bump-out happen within your booked hours.
How many people can the space hold? Approximately 80 seated and 120 standing.
Can I bring my own food and drinks? Yes. Catering is BYO or bring your own caterer, and alcohol is BYO. We're happy to recommend people we've worked with.
Is there parking? Yes, and it's one of the best things about us. Street parking, a carpark next door, the plaza, and a loading zone right out front. We're 1.5km from Belmore Station, minutes from the M5 and M8, and opposite Clemton Park Village.
How do payments work? Studio bookings are paid in full when you book, so there's nothing to settle on the day. Free cancellation up to 7 days out; between 48 hours and 7 days you get 50% back plus 50% as studio credit; inside 48 hours we hold 50% as studio credit. Do you shoot the content too? Yes. Content Sessions are $860 inc GST for 2 hours including creative direction, styling, shooting and a full edit, delivered within 7 days. For campaign and e-commerce work we do full professional shoots, quoted to the job.
Why is the Content Session shot on iPhone? Because for social, it works better. Vertical, native-looking content outperforms polished DSLR content on Instagram and TikTok - it reads as real rather than as an ad. You're paying for the direction, the styling, the studio and the edit. When you need capture for print or e-commerce, that's our Professional Shoot tier.
Are candles allowed? Real-flame candles need prior approval and supervision, same for smoke machines and sparklers. LED candles are always fine and honestly photograph better than you'd think.
How late can events run? Music stops at 11pm per the building rules, and the space is vacated by 11:30pm. No all-night events.
How quickly will you get back to me? Within one business day. We're a small team with small kids, so we're not answering at 9pm - but you won't be left hanging.
